When C-Tec, the UK’s largest independent manufacturer of life safety electronic equipment, revealed plans to extend their high-tech HQ, Harled was commissioned to deliver a full lighting design and installation service.
The existing 75,000 sq. ft. head office was to be extended by a further 20,000 sq. ft. and a lighting scheme introduced that reflected the dynamic brand values. Working directly with the company CEO, a clear and aspirational vision led the design, and lighting was to be instrumental in the wider approach.
The building was to become, in essence, a physical representation of the brand, reflecting their international market leading status. Bespoke glass and steel dominated the central areas, with the highest specification architectural fittings, fixtures and furniture.
Lighting across the vast building was designed to further elevate those brand values. Carefully selected LED lighting was introduced to create an opulent environment.
RGB colour changing LED’s lit the bespoke staircase whilst production areas, training rooms and catering facilities, where each given a separate identity with individual and unique lighting design.
