Boal Extrusions

Boal Group based in Leicestershire have been extruding aluminium for over 50 years. The company recently focused on the main press hall lighting with a remit attached to reduce cost, maintenance and most importantly, the carbon footprint.

Harlec Lighting Design provided a package that offered all of the criteria whilst also increasing the lighting levels by over 45%.

The installation of LED linear high bay lighting have also made a vast improvement to the working environment.

The scheme analysis shows a 46% saving in electricity, monetary cost and carbon consumption (60.7 tonnes CO2 annually) and a return on investment within 9 months!
